Molluscum contagiosum is a common viral skin infection that primarily affects children but can also occur in adults with weakened immune systems. It is caused by a virus from the Poxviridae family and is characterized by small, painless, smooth, dome-shaped lesions on the skin, which may be slightly itchy. It commonly appears on areas such as the face, hands, trunk, or limbs.

Topical Treatments:

Prevention of spread
